MoboMath 1.2 Adds Mathematica Support
Latest release also enhances support for Maple, MathML
Enventra is pleased to announce the release of MoboMath 1.2, the handwritten equation editor for technical documents, calculations, and web pages. Among other important features, MoboMath 1.2 adds support for Mathematica, enabling users to create handwritten math expressions that can be evaluated or plotted in their Mathematica notebooks.
In addition to standard math expressions, MoboMath 1.2 supports many of the most popular Mathematica functions, letting users build complex fully-functional Mathematica notebooks in their own handwriting without a keyboard or palettes. Users can plot, solve, simplify, expand, and factor handwritten expressions, or evaluate them using many of Mathematica's built-in math functions. For more information about using MoboMath with Mathematica, please see the online tutorial and press release.
Other new and enhanced features in MoboMath 1.2 include:
- Improved Maple support. Users can now use many of the most popular Maple functions in addition to standard mathematical expressions to build Maple worksheets. In addition, a new Maple menu selection automatically sets all options needed to use MoboMath with Maple.
- Enhanced MathML export and import for improved compatibility with a broader range of third-party products.
- Improved handwriting recognition, especially for longer, more complex expressions.
- A simplified user interface, with new options for Mathematica and Maple support, as well as other improvements.
- An expanded and revised help system, with improved guidance for working with third-party products.
- Many other improvements to product stability and performance.
MoboMath 1.2 is available for immediate trial download and purchase from the Enventra web site.
